Apfa Mission Statement

The Australian Print Finishers Association (Apfa) attracts members from companies throughout Australia that exist predominately for the purpose of providing trade services for the printing industry in its entirety.

The following points summarise some of the objectives of Apfa providing resources for industry information including referrals, publications, technical literature and dissemination of industry news via various sources.

  • Working towards creating awareness in the designer, print and buyer community about Finishing processes.

  • Setting and maintaining sector standards for the print finishing industry.

  • Making information about our members business available via links on this web site.

  • Facilitating training seminars and workshops for print finishers, printers, graphic designers, buyers, students.

  • Circulation of the annual directory FinishFirst containing company listings and information about each of our Members and Associate Members.

  • Sponsoring an excellence award for the print finishers sector with an apprentice award and an innovation aware.

  • Establishing a standard set of documents for the Print Finishing industry including Print Finishing Standards, recommended Terms of Trade, recommended Credit Account Application forms.
